FAQ

Can you ride an ebike on roads ?

The E-bike does not meet the requirements of EN15194, which specifies the requirements for bicycles with electrically-assisted drive (EPAC-Electrically Power Assisted Cycle). Therefore, e-bike is not intended for riding on public roads, it is exempt from the obligation to register, insure, hold a driving license.

What distance can i ride and what it depends on ?

Distance depends on your weight, area where you ride, way of riding. For example:Your weight 80 kg, different terrain, mixed way of driving - gives you about 100 km on one charge.

How to power on and off an ebike ?

You can do it by RFID card or tag, that way we don;t have to mount regular ignition key, which can be damaged and leak water.

Why there are pedals if I can't use it riding more than 25 km/h ?

To use it when your riding slow or if the battery dies.

Why there is no derailleur in our ebike ?

Because there is no need for it while riding ebike

How many cycles can I charge battery ?

About 600-700 times.

What are the differences between block driver – sinusoidal – vector ?

Block - voltage drive, loud motor work, worse work comparing to sinusoidal. Vector - current drive (torque) silent motor work, higher efficiency, lower battery use compared to block and sinusoidal driver.

Why I cannot store the battery which is fully charged?

Because it will shorten the battery life. During time the capacity will decrease and internal resistance will increase. Leaving the battery fully charged will speed up this process. After one year leaving a fully charged battery (not used) will decrease the capacity by 30%.

Is there any temperature emergency cutoff?

Yes, there is a temperature cutoff. The engine will shut down if it in reaches critical temperature.

Is the battery protected by high temperature ?

Yes

Why the voltage jumps when I turn the throttle ?

Each battery cell has its own characteristic. Current draw causes voltage to change. The more current the more voltage drop in battery. Voltage drop (called SAG) can be higher or lower depending on battery, used cells and current draw by motor driver.

Can I pressure wash the ebike ?

Yes, maximum allowed pressure is up to 1 bar.

Basic parts used for production

Frame

Steel frame with vacuum manufactured plastic housing using high quality ABS and PMMA crack resistant plastics. Bottom bracket – tapered square (bracket with sealed bearings). Frame construction is welded from closed square profiles, which makes it very strong, durable and capacious. In the frame of FA model there is a powerful battery built of 400 cells and Sabvoton 150 controller. The only such construction on the market with such a large battery and controller in the middle of frame. Thanks to this we can overcome logs with large diameters (riding with the controller mounted on the outside, we do not have such an opportunity in heavy terrain). Mounting the bottom bracket in the swingarm is an ideal solution for the chain work and its tension, we do not have to mount a tensioner, which does not work out, resulting in chain jumping and knocking on the swingarm. The possibility of mounting the controller inside a frame with such large battery is a great advantage. Phase conductors are well protected against water. The frame’s profile-welded support structure provides great strength.

Motor type 30*4T (820 RPM, 72 V, 11.39 kV) / Nominal power 3000 W (temporary 6000 W – 10000 W) / Torque 182 Nm 7 types of motors with different windings can be used, from 3T- to 5T-model, from 17.71 kV to 9.03 kV, from 1275 RPM to 650 RPM.We select motors according to our riding style. More torque for less speed or more speed for less torque.

The best controller on the market. You can change its parameters individually, which allows you to adjust ebike to your riding style. The longer you ride your ebike, the faster the desire to increase power grows. This controller provides an easy way to set it.

Battery 70Ah/72V/20s/20p/SANYO NCR 18650GA/5000Wh

With a battery like this, you forget about running out of power during your trip. We have chosen the optimal size of battery so that the controller fits into the frame. Battery capacity lets you get the most out of your controller, up to 150 A from the battery and 300 A in motor phase.

Wide 2.75” tires and 21” moto steel rims

We use equal sized rims (front and rear). Designs with smaller rear wheel are not appealing to us, so we do not make such rims. We brace the engine only in steel rims, aluminium rims are deformed after the first hard ride in the forest. Each wheel is centred on a centering machine with accurate timers up to 0.1 mm.

Dual-shelf shock absorber DNM USD-8s (oil-spring-air) with 200 mm of travel (triple adjustment). DNM damper spring hardness 750 lbs.

Hydraulic 4-piston brakes MAGURA MT5

Quadruple stopping power. The lightweight MAGURA brake handle of carbon material, combined with a special lever made of aluminum provides excellent ergonomics. It has a super rigid four-piston brake calliper, brake pads for higher braking power in every possible situation on the road.

MAGURA semi-floating petal discs with a diameter of 220 or 203 mm

Allow to achieve maximum braking parameters. It is based on a three-piece disc structure which enables an automatic positioning of the working surface. Manufactured on the basis of H.S.C.C – High Strength Cooling Configuration philosophy, i.e. high mechanical resistance is accompanied by adequate ability to dissipate heat generated during braking. The disc core: it is an aluminium spider, which is lightweight and at the same time allows for very high rigidity. The working surface is made of steel. The braking surface is attached to the spider with six rivets. The aluminium parts help to dissipate the heat generated during braking very effectively, so that the risk of disc buckling due to temperature is incomparably lower than with one-piece rotors. Thanks to the fact that there are rivets between the spider and the working surface, the disc is movable! It should be clear that the working clearance is UNDETECTABLE in the hands, and that is exactly as it should be. This minimal movement allows for optimal positioning of the disc in relation to the brake pads, which makes the lining work with its entire surface.
